Badminton Training! =D

Time for a short blog before I sleep. *warning: the first 2 paragraphs are about cute guys and the last 2 are about badminton.. if you're not interested in either topic then please skip reading this post =P*

one thing I forgot to mention about my weekend trip was the abundance of cute guys on the return bus trip. Next time I'm getting Kelvin to get my bus tickets for sure!! Its way cheaper, the bus is way newer, the seats can actually decline better, PLUS there are so many cute/pretty people!! First of all, the driver there was super hot... then I saw 2 girls and I thought "hey, they're pretty hot". Until the guy behind bus started asking them about assigned seats, I noticed that the guy who came with the 2 girls is also very cute!!!

I think its true that in Japan people are prettier/cuter in general. I mean, take the badminton training group I went to today, for example... there's a super cute guy there (he looks like Endy Chow kwok yin) and his badminton posture is soooo nice... looks like those from comics. He must've practiced his posture everyday in front of the mirror to achieve that kind of elegant and YING posture (possibly more YING than daniel wu)... holy crap. I didn't get to play with/against him today so I duno how good he actually is. And then there're these other bunch of guys whom I was talking to and I thought they're all around their mid 20's but guess what, the youngest one among those guys was 31 and the oldest was 36. At first I thought they were joking but I kinda realized they're not. How do people look so young in Japan?? They're GUYS! No help from makeup at all....

Okay I'm gonna stray away from the topic of hot guys/girls. Today's badminton training was.. too short. Haha I guess its kind of my fault cuz I was 30 minutes late to a 2 hour training... NOT because I was behind schedule, but bcuz I didn't want to leave work TOO early (I left at 5:20, and I usually leave at 6:30). Also it took me 30 minutes to walk from the train station to the actual gym.. the total time taken to commute to the training place was 2 hours!! Can you believe it.. 2 hours of my precious time used for commuting. *sigh* I wish I could find somewhere closer.. gotta keep looking! Anyway, I got there and warmed up for a bit.. turns out they do all singles drills there.. no doubles drills at all. So I guess this is a good chance for me to practice my singles. Only one other girl showed up today and she looks like a lady in her 40's to 50's... but she still plays pretty well for a 40 year old (better than *cough*Ida auntie*cough*). I was stuck doing drills with her tho, cuz she was the only other female player there. I wish there were more young girls to play with... =P actually, i wish Jenn was there with me... then we can kick some guys' asses. haha.. the guys there are pretty good actually... but most (if not all) of them are singles players so they have zero doubles knowledge... when ppl serve, they lift.. and... yeah.. not gonna go into details. Haha.. today I met Masa (not the UBC Masa), Mamo, Kenji and Taniguchi san. Guess who's the youngest guy there? Taniguchi san... hahaha its funny how everyone else told me their first name except for the youngest guy there. He plays interesting badminton.. even during drills he likes to fake people?? I mean come on.. its only a drill... stop faking me out!! -_-;;

Oh one last thing.. I think I know why most Japanese players are so agile and fast but have no power. Its bcuz of the BIRDIES they train with... 90% of my clears went straight out today... MY clears... and like.. all of my lift would go out if I used any strength... so is that why UBC Masa had no power? haha probably. Let me try to get them to train with my tube of Sosan birds... =P
