TGIK! + random2.rar
Have I posted this b4? heh well anyways, I learnt from Asami san that Japanese people, instead of saying TGIF, say TGIK! For those of you wondering what the 'k' stands for... it stands for 'kinyoubi'(金曜日) which means Friday in Japanese... XD
Yesterday on the bus to work Billy spotted a 80% Jay Chou lookalike!! Haha.. he looked at least 80% like Jay Chou... just a shorter and chubbier version... and I was saying how Jenn will go crazy if she sees him.. =P hehehe... post some pix later.
Played with Billy's guitar yesterday... its actually quite fun!! But its all about chords... and I'm extremely bad with chords... >< Now I miss my piano..... maybe I can borrow Meghan's keyboard, but it still feels different!! Crazy plan.... christmas carols tour during Xmas?? XD Let's do it let's do it!!
After 3 months my mom's first msn message to me:
"Hi Nui Nui, no more ice cream lar, little fattie."

Probably should compile this for future reference...
A list of Japanese translated english abbreviations
Petite
・W = Double
Convenient Store
Print club (sticker pictures)
will add to the list as I remember more....
Badminton terms:
Drills (which of course, tranlates to "knock practice")
Nice Service = Nice serve
・Nice Judge = Good eye
・Nice Pause(?) = Good play (at first I thought they really meant nice pause as in pausing to try to fake your opponent out, but later I realized they say it even when its a smash, whcih has nothing to do with pausing.. -_-;;)
・ドンマイ = Don't mind (used particularly (and excessively) in badminton games, where people would say "don't mind desu" when the person they are cheering for misses -_-;; when did "don't mind" turn into a noun??)
Other related badminton terms I've learnt:
・おしい = That was close!
Oh shit...
I'm surprised!
KSo is a southpaw LOL
